PolyCera® Titan 70 UF Membrane in Oil Pipeline Terminal Station Applications

The integrated oily wastewater treatment system featuring containerized PolyCera® Titan 70 UF membrane as core component has been commissioned in an oil pipeline terminal station of Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum Group in May 2021. The project is located in Shaanxi Province, China.

The oil pipeline terminal station is equipped with oil tank area, equipment area, loading and receiving area and auxiliary production facility area. This project is a newly built oily wastewater treatment station with a designed treatment capacity of 400m3/d. The oily wastewater is from two main sources: one is the underground water polluted by oil in nearby villages, and the other is the oily wastewater in the pipeline terminal station accidental buffer tank. The water quality of the above two oily wastewater after being treated by the new treatment station meets the B-level standard in the "Water Quality Standard for Discharge to Municipal Sewers" (GB/T31962-2015).

The integrated treatment system uses containerized PolyCera® Titan 70 UF membrane. After the feed oily wastewater passes through the equalization tank, it directly enters the PolyCera® Titan membrane with a filtration rating of sub 10 nm. The treated water quality meets discharge standards, while the equipment is fully automatic with small footprint for convenient operation and maintenance.
